Even when a school is confident and proud of the work they do, as we are here at RAP, its always a nervous moment when the phone call is received to say that the Ofsted inspectors are on their way!
RAP got the call last term on December 3rd to say we would be visited by two inspectors the following day.
Staff and students all rose to the occasion and took the opportunity to make sure all the hard work they have been doing and the amazing progress they have made were brought to the attention of our visitors.
The inspectors were particularly impressed with the outstanding quality of the education we provide, our strong culture of safeguarding, our hard work to raise pupils’ aspirations, our well-planned curriculum, our extremely effective assessment systems, and the excellent relationships we foster between pupils and pupils and between pupils and staff.
We have now received official confirmation that inspectors judged RAP to remain an outstanding provision. We won’t rest on our laurels however. We have plans to develop and improve our work still further over the coming year!
Many, many congratulations to all our students and staff on this well-deserved recognition.
