Congratulations to three of our students for successfully completing the London Fire Brigade’s Early Intervention LIFE course. This was a great opportunity for students to find out more about the exciting work of these community heroes. Students gained an insight into how the Fire Brigade works, learning not only some new skills but also some valuable lessons for life along the way.
Our young learners took part in activities designed to help them develop transferable skills such as teamwork, communication, punctuality as well as understand the importance of responsibility and the consequences of actions. This included hose running, climbing ladders, familiarisation of breathing apparatus and classroom inputs covering topics about consequences and healthy and safe living.
